Ragi Porridge

Porridge

Ingredients :

½ cup water or milk , 3 tablespoons Kiddolicious Porridge Mix
(Optional: mashed banana, date puree, ghee – based on baby’s food introduction stage)

How to Prepare Porridge Mix:

  1. Take ½ cup of water or milk in a pan.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of Kiddolicious Porridge Mix and stir well.
  3. Cook on medium flame for 3–5 minutes while stirring continuously.
  4. Let it cool to room temperature before serving.
Millet Pancakes

Pancakes

Ingredients :

3 tablespoons Kiddolicious Porridge Mix (Ragi / Jowar / Bajra / Whole Wheat), 1 small ripe banana (mashed), 3–4 tablespoons milk or water, cinnamon or cardamom powder (optional), ghee or coconut oil for cooking


How to Prepare:

  1. Mix porridge mix with milk/water, mashed banana, cinnamon or cardamom powder (optional) and jaggery to form a smooth batter.
  2. Rest for 5–10 mins.
  3. Heat a greased pan and pour the batter.
  4. Cook both sides till golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with fruits.

Millet Dosa

Dosas

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons Kiddolicious Porridge Mix, 2 tablespoons rice flour or sooji (semolina) (optional – for crispier texture), ½ cup water or buttermilk, 1 tablespoon curd (optional), ghee or cold-pressed oil for cooking

How to Prepare:

  1. Mix the porridge mix with water and salt to make a thin dosa-like batter.
  2. Add chopped veggies if using.
  3. Heat a dosa tawa and grease lightly.
  4. Pour the batter and spread it thin like dosa.
  5. Cook on medium flame till crisp. No need to flip.
  6. Let it cool slightly and serve plain or with mashed fruit.
Millet Laddoo - Kiddolicious

Laddoo

Ingredients:

1 cup millet Mix (like Ragi, Bajra, or Mix of all Millets mixes), 2 tbsp ghee, 2–3 tbsp jaggery (grated) or dates puree, 1 tbsp dry fruit powder (optional).

How to Prepare :

  1. Roast millet flour in ghee on low flame until aromatic.
  2. Add jaggery or dates puree. Mix well until it binds.
  3. Let it cool slightly and shape into soft laddoos.

    Note:
  • For babies under 1 year, avoid jaggery and use dates puree.
  • Ensure a smooth, soft texture (no chunks).
Millet Halwa

Halwa

Ingredients:

2 tbsp millet flour (like Ragi, Jowar, or Little Millet), 1 tbsp ghee, 1½ cups water or milk, 1–2 tsp jaggery (optional) or mashed fruit.

How to prepare

  1. Roast millet flour in ghee till aromatic.
  2. Add water/milk gradually, stir to avoid lumps.
  3. Cook until thick and smooth.
  4. Add jaggery or fruit for mild sweetness.

Note: Skip jaggery for babies under 1 year. Use mashed banana or apple instead.
